I love my smile.

That might sound conceited, but I do! Ever since I was little, I was always complimented on my smile and people that knew my family always commented that my brother and I had the same smile or that I looked just like my mom when I smiled.

As a mom, I am all about ease. Being a woman, a girly girl and a “blogger,” I am also all about looking cute. Often these don’t go hand in hand. Some days I am in my workout clothes from a 6am workout until 10pm {gross!}. Some days I don’t have a chance to look in the mirror until the end of the day and then shake my head about my appearance. Yet, some days, I shower, do my hair and have makeup on, and therefore feel completely accomplished.

Recently, I noticed that my smile needed a little help. My smile, something that I am proud of, was looking a little less bright. Since most days, this is the only thing that looks good on my face, I booked a teeth whitening consultation at my dentist.

Then SMILE BRILLIANT reached out to me. An at home whitening treatment was just what I needed, but I didn’t know much about them or what one to try. SMILE BRILLIANT takes all the work out of it! With an easy at-home impression-making system and custom-fitted trays that are made just for you, your whiter smile is closer, easier and cheaper than you think.

The package is sent to you with two different kinds of putty that you mix together and fit into a mouth tray to make your impressions. The included tips and tricks handout makes it foolproof! You send off your homemade impressions with a prepaid package. You will receive your personal whitening trays back within a week {I got mine back in two days!}.

To whiten, it is recommended that you do so at the end of the day, to decrease chances of stains and to allow the whitening agent to work.

To whiten:
1. Floss and Brush your teeth with just water, no toothpaste.
2. Put the whitening agent into your whitening tray and then on your smile for 45 minutes - 3 hours, depending on tooth sensitivity and time allowance. {I have extremely sensitive teeth, and never had an issue.}
3. After, brush your teeth as normal and go to sleep to wake with a whiter smile!

Once you start the whitening process, do not eat or drink anything. I have found it helpful to do on nights that I am trying to avoid dessert or late night snacking.

I did this for the first time the night before our first party in our new home and immediately noticed a difference.

As a mom, this process was a life changer and time saver. It was cheaper than a dentist, and I can do it on my own time. What mom doesn’t want a brighter smile for her little ones, and more time to do what you love?!?

And if you aren't a mom, who doesn't want a whiter smile?

Thank you to Smile Brilliant for sponsoring this post and giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
