loafer love

blush loafers

Anyone who has been inside my closet tends to comment, "You have a lot of loafers and a lot of stripes." Considering I used to have to wear a uniform to shoe that was the epitome of preppy, I think that this gravitation towards a similar uniform is only natural {that's right, I blame you, Bishop's!}.

I have always lusted after Tod's loafers, but thought they seemed a little over priced and have loved finding dupes and similar looks over the years to add the understated prep to my closet and collection.

These M.Gemi loafers, seen in this Instagram, are thus my latest obsession. No, they are not a dupe, they are luxury all their own. And, no, they are not budget friendly, but I promise you will wonder what you did before you had them in your closet!

Their spring friendly pastel collection has quickly sold out, but they tend to restock favorites. I have already joined the wait list for another pair and strongly encourage you to do the same. I almost always get a blister or two breaking in shoes {and my feet are so sensitive, that I still get blisters from my trusty converse!}, so my mom feet were very pleasantly surprised to not have one blister or need to change shoes after a morning of chasing my little ones.

They run true to size {I ordered a 37}.
