blue and maroon

This Asos maternity dress is the most comfortable dress ever and I still can't seem to find what makes it maternity, thus it will be perfect for those awkward months after. As the weather here in San Diego is not cooperating and showing any signs of fall, this dress has been worn a lot recently, so much so, I might have to order it in lime

over the knee boots

Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots are currently 25% off with code WINWIN25 ending today!

Every fall, I find myself coveting over the knee boots. Before I moved to New York City, I found a great pair of flat knee high boots on super duper sale and I resole them every spring to make them last. They are slightly dated, but after years and miles of wearing them, they feel custom made and remind me of nostalgic feeling of moving to NYC with one suitcase full of black.

While we all love the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots, I have found a great couple of pairs under $150! {these are my favorite!}

After my second baby shower, where the decor was blue gingham and stripes, and chinoiserie vases filled with white florals and pink peonies,  {photo seen on Instagram} I am finding myself gravitating towards chinoiserie blue. It make me immediately think of the dress that I can't stop coveting {seen below}. I've been trying to convince my mom that she needs it in hopes that she will wear it, tire of it and give it to me post bump. {RED Valentino heart print skirt currently on sale with code WINWIN25.}

In the mean time, I think I might just have to order this little light blue number for $20!

navy flounce

I cannot recommend this dress enough. I wore it to my first baby shower in blush, seen on Instagram and Like to Know it, my birthday and with the feminine yet forgiving shape, I think that it will also be perfect for the Little Lady's christening. While it has been great over the bump, it is not maternity wear, making it a great piece that will work in the warmer months with pumps or with tights in the winter. And when it comes in red, navy, black and blush, I am here to help you justify!

I love these sales this time of year, as I stock up on J.Crew Cashmere at a fraction of the price and love to get it monogrammed {I picked up this in heather river and this in blush. Sometimes I wish I lived in a colder climate so I would wear more coats. But then I remember that I tend to run cold anyway  and that I am lucky to live in San Diego. Nevertheless, my love for a great trench is undeniable: versatile and classic, I think that it is great investment piece that everyone should have in their closet. I have a black Burberry Trench that has not gotten much use in Southern California, but was very helpful when living in Texas, New York and my endless travels. That being said, I think that a khaki, or neutral trench is a must have as well.

While this gorgeous one will last you a lifetime, the price point makes it a little difficult to rationalize for a Thursday purchase. Never fear! I have selected a roundup of great trenches for you below all under $100! I am in love with this grayish blue trench for $33. love love love!

An over sized plaid scarf is the quintessential fall piece. These photos feature the plaid scarf from Zara from last year (this year's color here). While this is currently sold out, I have found a bunch of great plaid scarves, all under $100.

Its hard to pick a favorite, but I love the volume of this one ,the tartan color of this one and you can't beat the price on this one {$20!}.

cadet blazer

To say I am obsessed with this cadet blazer is an understatement. The color, the cut and the fact that it is different than anything in my closet makes it a no brainer. I am really excited to pair it with my leather leggings and this cashmere in the same color that I got monogrammed months ago in anticipation of fall.
