shop til you drop!

I have rounded up all the best of the best shopping for black friday! I prefer to partake in bed with a decaf mocha and leave the malls to the crazies.

Here are my picks from Nordstrom {can't stop thinking about these}. There will be special mark downs starting last night and ending on Monday.

Bloomingdale's will be having special markdowns that from November 25- Dec 2. How perfect is this for your niece or cousin?

Ann Taylor has a bunch of uber feminie pieces for all the ladies on your list.  With 40% off today only {with code TGIF}, these won't be around for cyber monday's discount {SHOP50}.

I love to check Zhush weekly for great treasures for the house. This is a great one stop shop kind of a website and with 20% all order, {even sale items!} from Nov 29- Dec 2 with code BLACKFRIDAY, I couldn't help but order this for myself! {also love the idea of monogrammed sunglasses! who doesn't?}

navy & orange gift guide: for the animal lover

Vegan leather skirt {$69}, also love this one

Faux fur jacket {$158}

Faux fur shrug {$98, $68}

Who doesn't love fur and all thing fabulous?
Well, me.

 Ever since I was little I would claim that when touching fur I would vomit. It has really only happened once {yuck} but as an animal lover, I can't stand the sight or thought of fur. Which sucks when I comes to fashion as it seems to be everywhere this time of year. But never fear! I have found some great pieces for the animal lover on your list, including this fab coat for a fraction of the cost.  These shopping picks are vegan leather, faux fur and products that have never been tested on animals. Perfect for the Animal Lover on your list.

If the animal lover on your "Nice" list tends to be hard to shop for clothing wise, you can never fail with a blowout gift card, or, what I am asking for this year, a donation to their favorite cause made in their name.

That difficult person to shop for on your list? Done. You're welcome.

been eyeing this dress..

dress // hat // boots

As this will be my first Thanksgiving with my family in 4 years, I have been looking for the perfect dress {also been eyeing this one} for our intimate family dinner. After spotting this in store and then styled on Pink Peonies with black accessories, it is currently hanging in my closet  awaiting to be worn with tights for the rest of the winter and with nude pumps in the spring.

Also, with Thanksgiving this week, the sales are already starting!{have you checked out the Pinterest board I have dedicated to all the sales?}

Today only, Urban Outfitters has 20% off books. Their book selection is eclectic to say the least, but some of my purchases were the biggest hits from last year's stocking stuffers. {I'm getting this one for my mom, this one for my brother, this one for my husband and this one for a white elephant exchange.}

Also, there is 30% off EVERYTHING at Kate Somerville with code HOLIDAY2013. Shop my picks below.

orange blazer

Blazer {25% off with code WINTER, ends today} similar orange blazer for 55% off here // sweater // jeans // boots // bag // sunglasses

I wore this outfit when the weather actually finally felt like fall, but this tends to be my go-
to uniform all year around, I just swap out the boots and long sleeves for sandals and lighter layers. While the jacket tends to look red in photos, it is actually the perfect autumnal burnt orange, so I am making sure to wear it constantly before the end of this week, when I will begin to wear my red one nonstop.

party dresses for less than $100

As the holiday parties are just around the corner and I don't feel prepared without a hostess gift and the perfect dress, I thought I would hunt down some great party frock suggestions for you, with an added bonus: all under $100!

Guilt free party dress shopping? yes, please!

also- I have started a Pinterest board featuring my favorite Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals completed with promotion codes, Sale Details and dates to take full advantage.

casual chic

As seen on Instagram, I rocked this look last week while running around town. It is super comfy yet still pulled together enough to transition into date night. I paired it with leopard loafers for day, then transitioned to these pumps for night.

navy & orange gift guide: the hostess with the mostest

1. Voluspa Candles {$40}

3. Chevron Coasters {$12.50}

4. Gallery Tray {$150, $125}

5. diptyque Candle {$90}

6. Zebra tray {$48}

7. Cocktail Napkins {$9.50}

8. Apron {$28}

As the holiday invitations start to arrive, finding a gift for all of your hosts and hostesses should be the first gift you check off your list. Candles are always a great gift to arrive with, as they will last longer than the normal champagne gift. If you know your hostess in time to order these napkins, I cannot recommend them more {nothing is more personal and thoughtful than a monogram}. But, if you are unsure of the hostess' taste or colors, stock up on these adorable napkins that will help the party animals be festive all year long!

trends for cheap.

While I love stocking up on new additions to the closet as much as the next girl, I love the idea of staying on trend on the cheap {read: saving money, not quality}.

As seen here, you can easily dress for the change of season by incorporating items you already have in your closet!

Sometimes, all you need for look current is a change in your makeup routine. I am obsessed with lipstick. Obsessed. So I love when the weather turns chilly and I am able to whip out my favorite red lipstick {in Passion}. Lately, I have been loving the prominent brows and wine lip. And it takes two seconds to get ready as the rest of the face should be minimal.

Shop my picks below.
{this is my newest beauty bag addition. Use it right under the brow for the perfect pop to make any brow look prominent}

comfy chic

After a lovely Sunday spent doing my favorite things {going for a run with the hubby & pup, church and family brunch}, I have added this gorgeous sweater to my wish list to be looking chic while lounging.

ps- Have you check out the rest of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's lounge wear? All super gorg and comfy chic.

boot sale!

Have you heard??? The most perfect boot sale with 25% OFF! Unreal. It makes these gorgeous lust worthy boots from $598 to $449. Or these very, very similar pair from $249 to $187.

Shop below.

How great are these Chinoiserie touches? You know me and my love of blue decor.

I am not really a "pink" girl. Nevertheless, I am currently obsessed with this pale pink cashmere that I had monogrammed. I've worn it with my navy and my camo. I figure anything in your closet that you love, treat it as a nuetral and wear it with everything!

navy & orange shopping picks

Have you checked out the navy & orange boutique? I recently updated the button and you can find it on the right hand side with the below photo.

Some of the items have been on my wish list for a while and have recently been added to my closet {like this!} and some pieces are great finds that I just had to share, like this coat for $81!

I update it weekly, so check it often!
Happy Shopping!

Can't get enough of this look: chunky knit, scarf and a statement bag {I can't stop carrying my new addition in navy. Overtly obsessed.}

I love this look so much, I rocked it yesterday with cashmere even though it was 72 degrees. I love fall that much.

the perfect navy dress

purse  // necklace  // dress  // heels
everything but the dress all under $90

I just feel in love with this dress the moment I saw it, how could you not? Navy and at a great price point, I got inspired to think what I would pair it with. You know me and my love for a bargain hunt, so I did both a Fancy Find and a Frugal Find inspiration board, both letting the dress shine with added sparkle of ladylike finds.

Nothing quite says fall like a camel handbag. As seen on Instagram, I wear mine all year around, but I love these street style photos to pair them with luxurious layers, such as this one or this one in yummy shades that compliment the ultimate fall color.
