kitchen remodel

It is no secret that I love me a pop of color.
When we first started to discuss this whole kitchen remodel thing, I want/ demanded an all white kitchen that coordinated with the crisp lines of our travertine flooring. As the demolition got under way, I found myself going back to the photo below: a crisp kitchen with a pop of robin's egg blue in the backsplash. The decorator {and the hubby} agreed that this was too girly and didn't flow with the rest of our California rustic house and decor, so I pinned it on inspiration board for another project. While I found a happy medium between the photo below and the photo directly above, I have a weight off my shoulders knowing that all decisions have been made! Now if they would just hurry up and install our new stove...

  2. I love white kitchens! I'm sure whatever you decide will turn out gorgeous! xo

  3. I would think just deciding on everything would be overwhelming. Thank god for Pinterest! I love your inspiration and can't see the results!!!!! xoxo

  4. I love the light blue accent in the kitchens! It looks lovely :)

  5. I'm kind of in love with the back splash on that last picture. Can't wait to see what you went with!

  6. I love a clean, white kitchen with a pop of color! These photos are so gorgeous!

  7. Seriously swooning over that last backsplash!

  8. Oooh, those boys and the silly, "That's too girly" business. :)

I'm sure the final product is going to look incredible!

  9. I am seriously in love with that first kitchen!

  11. LOVE these kitchens.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  12. I love the mini glass subway tiles in the last image. They fit that space so nicely; whereas, traditional 3x6" glass subway tile would have been a little large for that space.

  13. I also want an all-white kitchen. When we remodeled our kitchen, this is the first thing that my wife and I discussed. She wanted to have a pastel colored kitchen. In the end, I was able to convince her about the beauty and benefits of an all-white kitchen. And, eventually, she liked how it turned out. ->Randell Jeffries

  14. I think everyone wants an all white kitchen nowadays! Even I want to have an all white kitchen with black accents on the side. Though, pastel colors really attract me the most. However, I still have to think about it. I need to pin more inspirational photos so I can figure out what type of kitchen do I really want. Haha!

  15. The kitchen in the first photo is smartly designed. It’s amazing how the kitchen hood vent was concealed by making another layer of storage for display. This design speaks of functionality and style! What do you think of the first photo? Isn’t it a stunning kitchen style? ->Elements Home Remodeling

  16. You have a beautiful kitchen. Quite impressive. I like your sense of color and eye for staging and framing a photograph - really helps frame the story you are telling with images. I wish that the before pictures were included in the same post for easier comparison. Home improvement like this is a huge project, would love to see more.
