summer staples

While packing can be a daunting task, I live for the anticipation of getting ready for a trip.  I love to plan outfits, incorporating new purchases with old favorites and imaging the great memories and photos. If you can't tell from my twitter and recent blogposts, I have been slowly accumlating some great summer staples. Below is a little inspiration for my current vacation and the rest of the summer!

vacation time

I'm officially on vacation {again!}. We are taking off to celebrate our anniversary {again!}. I return on Tuesday but have included a couple of posts for you whilst away. Have a great week!

my favorite statement

I have to say, that I am loving all the pops of color and mix of patterns that this season has been encouraging.  Nevertheless, sometimes, it just feels so great to put on your favorite white tee {similar here} and dress it up with a statement necklace and some lipstick.

watermelon pink & mojitos

Recently, I've been making multiple meals out of watermelon.

It is so quintessential summer and the color is of-the-moment! Loves it!

{love this hot pink lace option! would go perfect with my go-to meal!}

I'm planning on making this amazing recipe for watermelon mojitos this weekend!
