new traditions

today, I am headed north to spend my first Christmas in twenty-eight years that away from my family. With only eleven of us and only five of us spending Christmas together, I will miss them, but am excited for a full house with my in-laws {ten of us, including my new nephew & puppy!} So here is to new traditions. red jeans

I am loving all the red that is part of both fashion and decor this time of year. And I can't get enough of the colored denim trend. I recently added a pair of dark red jeans to my closet and I am loving wearing them with knits and neutrals. The dark red is a great change from the festive holiday red and I am excited to wear these all year around.

I recently did a little holiday shopping at kate spade and immediately got in the holiday spirit with their decor. I love the change up from metallics, reds and greens to multiple colors with festive trimmings. If you are in need of a hostess gift or for that difficult to shop for person on your list, I recommend a stop here!
